This is a trigger tag, used to indicate that the story includes a strong implication that the girl will in future be likely to have serious cruelty imposed upon her. This is more serious that something like a routine whipping, but not worth of the ‘Grievous Harm’ tag.
Examples would be the promise of piercing with red-hot needles, or an extreme whipping session.
